ABOUT ME

Dr. Ng obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research. Her extensive clinical training includes externships at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, Brooklyn College Counseling Center, NYU Langone – Brooklyn, and Coney Island Hospital. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Northwell Health – Zucker Hillside Hospital, where she provided individual and group psychotherapy, as well as psychological assessments, for patients across inpatient, partial hospitalization, and geriatric outpatient services.
Following her training, Dr. Ng worked at both the New York Police Department (NYPD) and NYU Langone Health before establishing her private practice. During her tenure with the NYPD, she conducted fitness-for-duty evaluations, undercover screenings, military and trauma debriefings, and disqualification appeals for candidates (NOPD). She also provided expert testimony in Civil Service Commission (CSC) court proceedings. At NYU Langone, Dr. Ng offered psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a broad range of mental health concerns. She has extensive experience working with high-risk and severely mentally ill populations.
Dr. Ng is bilingual and provides services in both English and Cantonese. In addition to her private practice, she currently serves as a Consultant Psychologist for NYC Health + Hospitals (NYCHHC) and the NYPD.
